MB Heena Suman - Roof Of the World

Marcella Boccia AKA Heena Suman recorded the Italian version of 'Talking Circles' for us
so when she asked us if we could to make a music video for her of 'Roof Of the World'
we readilly agreed...
'Roof Of The World'

We contacted the FREE TIBET CAMPAIGN and asked them
if they knew of any Tibetan nuns who would agree to be in the video
after all the video is about the Tibetan Nuns who had been and continiue to be
imprisoned and tortured in the dreaded 'Drapchi' prison in Tibet.
The FREE TIBET CAMPAIGN then contacted us
and asked if we would be interested in having
Phuntsog Nyidron, a Tibetan Buddist Nun and one of the
'Drapchi' singing nuns appear in the video.
Phuntsog was coming to London the following week as a guest of their
organization and they could put the idea to her before she arrived.
Phuntsog Nyidron, from Lhasa, was imprisoned in Tibet for
a peaceful protest. She served over 15 years
and is a recipient of the Reebok Human Rights Award
We said YES! YES! YES! and the rest is history.
The actual filming of Phuntsog Nyidron's part in the video

was allocated a timeslot of 30 minutes between her arriving and

then her having to leave for another appointment.

some images from the film footage
We had to travel across London..set up our filming equipment,
film for just over half an hour, then pack up and return.
Over 14 hours in all, and it was worth every second.
It was a real honor to meet Phuntsog and the crew felt the same as well.
Lisa (actress and right hand girl) who has worked with some top stars
told me that she felt more joy at meeting Phuntsog, a real person than
she felt when meeting the great 'Robert De Niro'.
